Are you ready for retirement?
Do you have enough?
According to a study by the University of Canberra, and sponsored by AMP, they found that on average people aged 50 to 69 who are still in the workforce have savings through superannuation of just $170,000.
To retire on an income of $38,000pa you would need approx $800,000.
InvestRite Australia have developed a strategy on leveraging your savings with the security of residential real estate to provide for your financial future. This strategy also incorporates government approved tax deductions that can divert your tax dollars to investment dollars.
Example of leverage:
If you were saving $100 per week for 52 weeks you would have $5,200. Assume you get a 5% interest on this you would earn $260 (not accounting for tax, bank fees and assuming interest on full amount for 1 year).
If you purchased an investment property for $300,000 and borrowed the full amount, your shortfall after rental and tax return may be $100. Assuming a capital growth of 5% and your investment would earn you $15,000.
Saving $100week = $260pa
Investing $100week= $15,000pa (with leverage)
